Our Exciting Opportunity

We are now looking for a Product Quality Leader to execute end-to-end product and process quality leadership in Ericsson's US 5G Smart Factory! This state-of-the-art factory produces 5G and Advanced Antenna System radios to boost network capacity and coverage to meet the demand for rapid 5G deployments in North America! This role will set up and maintain overall quality assurance and control processes, methods and tools, look after the quality issues/tasks, improve product and process performance, control the risks and guarantee the factory output with the performance are aligned with quality standards.

 

You will

  • Carry out the continuous yield analysis, claims & repair data analysis by using necessary systems, tools and quality management methods
  • Lead a cross-functional quality improvement team to fulfill defined and established quality plan.
  • Ensure the implementation of product quality control and quality improvement
  • Create and develop customer quality support process to have a quick & good response towards customer complaints or questions
  • Act as chairman of the US 5G SMART Factory FRAG (Fault Rate Analysis Group) and representative of US factory to external FRAG with other factories and with Product Design Unit

 

To be successful in the role you must have

  • Bachelor’s Degree in electrical engineering or related engineering degree
  • Minimum of 5 years of quality management experience in manufacturing. Preferred experience in telecommunication industry or in an electronics manufacturing environment
  • Experience in project management
  • Proficient working background and knowledge on quality management methods, tools (i.e. 6 Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, SPC, FMEA etc.)
  • Solid experience on statistical analysis and data handling
  • Ability to lead and present data analytics in an understandable way for both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Initiative and be proactive, result oriented, critical thinking and problem-solving ability
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% internationally

 

You might also have:

  • PMI certified Project Management Professional (PMP)
  • ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE)
  • Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt
