Our Exciting Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Plant Quality Engineering Manager in our 5G Smart Factory that will manage a team of engineers for new product launch, support volume production for all end to end quality process compliance and lead the team for quality improvements by achieving high yield rates and defects/scrap reduction.

You will

  • Be responsible for planning, organizing, directing and controlling the day to day operations of the total Quality System to ensure customer satisfaction (internal & external) by exceeding our Global Quality System Standards
  • Partner with PDU teams for design quality verification of NPI, global supplier quality teams for supplier qualification & quality management at EMS production sites (Jabil & Flex) for volume support
  • Be the owner of quality KPI’s across the factory (Testers Yield Rate, Customer Return Rate) and drive improvements
  • Provide authority in coaching and feedback to the teams for process compliance through audits
  • Drive 3-year quality 4.0 strategy for flawless execution with various industry 4.0 used cases and present tangible results on quality/efficiency improvement

 

To be successful in the role you must have

  • Bachelor’s Degree in electrical, mechanical or industrial engineering
  • Minimum of 10 years of quality engineering experience in manufacturing factory
  • Minimum 5 years of people management experience in quality or manufacturing engineering teams
  • Experience with Surface Mount Assembly/Technology and Automated Assembly process experience strongly preferred
  • Solid working background and knowledge on quality management methods, tools (i.e. 6 Sigma, APQP, SPC, FMEA, Control Plan, MSA, ISO 9001 etc.)
  • Good communication and presentations skills. Must be able lead and present data analytics in understandable way for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Initiative/Proactive ability, result oriented, critical thinking and problem-solving ability
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% internationally

  • PMI certified Project Management Professional (PMP)
  • ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE)
  • Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt
