NPI Coordinator

Our exciting opportunity:

As a part of establishing the USA 5G Smart Factory, we are now recruiting for an NPI Manager. We are on a journey towards building the future of wireless connectivity, and we want you on our team!  This person will be responsible for prototyping management in production with agreed lead-times and quality levels towards stakeholders and customers, along with various other tasks coordinating NPI for Operations.



NPI/Prototyping activities coordination

Managing all prototyping related activities in production

  • Driving daily prototyping WB meetings
  • Ensures preparation for NPI/Proto builds
  • Support material preparation/replenishment for NPI/Proto builds
  • Securing NPI/Proto builds are done according to agreed lead-times
  • NPI/Proto builds results reporting to prototyping team/Project Office
  • Driving respective KPI / PI on Production Operations level
  • Give producibility feedback to design units and propose assembly related improvement

 Production quality improvement coordination

  • Monitor and analyse production quality data
  • Provide production quality issues root cause analysis
  • Propose and implement preventive and corrective action to improve production quality

Continuous improvement (Kaizen) activities coordination

  • Initiate and implement improvement proposals to secure required quality or efficiency in production processes

To be successful in the role, you must have:

  • Education: Academic degree or the equivalent level of knowledge in relevant fields
  • Min 5 years of relevant experience from production and relevant industries
  • Technology & manufacturing processes knowledge
  • Proven leadership behavior
  • Experience from building up NPI’s is a plus
  • Knowledge of Ericsson, its products and processes
