Currently, for Application Development and Maintenance unit that is responsible for cooperation preparing applications and providing services to external customers we are looking for Software Developers to work in our offices in Lodz and Cracow.

Java Developer

Location:Lodz

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Estimating and developing new requirements and analyzing their influence on the system
  • Implementing designed requirements into the application (at each stage of the project)
  • Cooperation in the team (contact with SD, testers, team leads, a project manager)
  • Troubleshooting and fixing current bugs in the system
  • Working with technologies as:
    • Java (JDBC, hibernate/JPA, struts 1 & 2, Spring,  web services,  EJB,  JSP,  JSF 1.2)
    • AngularJS
    • Oracle (SQL + procedures)
    • .NET (C#)
  • Adjusting solutions to the valuation of requirements
  • Meeting the deadlines given by the Project Manager and project

 

 

Requirements:

  • Master degree in a quantitative discipline (applied mathematics, statistics, computer science, operations research, or related field)
  • At least 2 years commercial experience with web application development using J2EE
  • Strong java language programming skills,
  • Very good knowledge of design patterns and good practices
  • Experience with Struts 1.1 framework, JSF 1.x, 2.x and WebServices (Axis 1.x) with java 1.8
  • Understanding security aspects of web application
  • Very good documentation and communication skills
  • Excellent oral and written skills in English with ability to explain complex concepts clearly to a variety of stakeholders
  • Strong collaboration and consultative skills with high level of creativity
