Ericsson, the leader of mobile communications, is conducting world-leading research in various research areas, under its global organization Ericsson Research (ER), with presence in all continents. ER has the responsibility to provide Ericsson with new technologies and innovative system concepts, driving the standards and the development of future communication systems. The ER site in Turkey is focused in two out of eight Research Areas (RAs) at ER; RA Networks and RA Security.

RA Networks performs research on functional architectures, interfaces, and protocols required for the evolution 5G and 6G wireless systems. This includes how to manage, orchestrate, optimize, and fully automate RAN, Core, and Transport networks end-to-end, applying policies, data analytics, and ML/AI, with smart human intervention.

Our research site is recruiting a Research Project Coordinator


You will   

  • As a Research Project Coordinator, you will be coordinating and driving several advanced research projects and collaborations, developing new concepts and technologies for current and future wireless networks.
  • In this role, and together with the ER-site manager, you will be coordinating both internal and external research activities and collaborations.
  • This includes internal ER projects and global external collaborations with customers, universities, industries, EU research projects, incubation centers, and accelerators.
  • In cooperation with manager and team-leaders you will identify appropriate project calls, partners, and funding options, e.g. Tübitak programs.


To be successful in the role you must have

  • PhD or MSc degree Electrical Engineering, Physics, Computer Engineering, Security, or similar technical field, with strong interest in the communication industry.
  • Experience from research and/or relevant R&D work.
  • Experience of driving sophisticated and sophisticated projects in collaborations, preferably within the scope of our research areas.
  • Experience of international research collaborations like EU programs and Eureka clusters
  • Very structured and efficient in planning, following up, and reporting of research work and project costs.
  • Rich in initiative, creative, and with strong personal drive and dedication.
  • Drive and perform own work, with limited need for supervision!
