About this opportunity
We are now looking for an Automation Engineer role who will analyze, prepare, implement, deploy, complete test cases, and verify the configuration and integration of MS IT service-assurance systems. This role is a strong foundation for other careers within Ericsson such as Solution Architect and Customer Project Manager.
What you will do
Propose implementation solutions for the customers in co-operation with the solution architect as the need arises, for IT Led services operations tools.
Creates the software development environment
We define the software modules that comprise of an integration build, and produces software builds for loading onto target hardware from software source code
Implements tests on the software produced
We develop automated test frameworks/ scripts where required
You will bring
- Academic degree minimum on bachelor level within engineering.
- 4-7 years of Telecom or IT experience in design, implementation, and deployment of IT service assurance systems – fault, performance, reporting, automation, etc. solutions.
- Working experience with Selenium framework
- Experience with Linux distributions
- Working experience on ELK (Configuration, indexing, Queries, Aggregations, mapping and text analysis, trouble shooting, etc.)
- Knowledge about Grafana and Jasper reports and UNIX operating systems
- Good experience in scripting – Python/Perl/Shell/JavaScript
- Basic knowledge of Zabbix, ELK, Grafana
- Experience with project/bug tracking software like JIRA
