The Red Bee Media security team is composed of security professionals supporting the business by setting the strategic direction for Security, Cyber Security, Privacy and Business Continuity Management (BCM) within the Business Line. The function also acts as the escalation point for any escalated operational security issues and/or security questions. 

About this opportunity:

The Security Specialist with focus on Privacy and Security Resilience reports operationally directly to the Head of Security of Red Bee Media. As Privacy Advisor you are responsible to secure that there is a strategy for the implementation of Privacy requirements and to ensure there are up to date processes and templates available for the execution of the Privacy Strategy.

In the field of Security Resilience, the focus is on business continuity. You are responsible to secure that there is a strategy for the implementation of Business Continuity and support the organization to ensure the proper level of resilience.


What you will do:

•    Drive the implementation and execution of the Privacy Policy from a security perspective
•    Provide specialist privacy knowledge and advice to the organization
•    Perform Privacy Impact Assessments (PIAs) and Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs)
•    Perform risk assessments and audits
•    Analyse: Changes to the business environment, audit reports, security assessments, Incidents, threats and vulnerabilities, and provide recommendations for improvements
•    Follow up on findings on various assessment like PIA, ISRA or Audits
•    In the event of failure in protection (e.g. data leak) ensure that these failures are logged, appropriately managed and investigated in a fair and unbiased manner, and improvements opportunities identified and implemented
•    Deliver specialist knowledge to support in setting targets and strategies, via training and instructions/guidelines


You will bring: 

•    Education: Master degree in a related field is preferred (security focused)
•    Proven experience of Privacy related standards and regulations (minimal 3 years)
•    Certification by IAPP (International Association of Privacy Professionals) such as CIPM, CIPT, CIPP/E or equivalent highly recommended
•    Security Certifications like Lead Auditor (27001), CISA or equivalent
•    Security and Risk Management training or equivalent experience
•    Knowledge of standard methodology security frameworks (for example, ISO27001, NIST, OWASP, etc.), information security controls, methods and techniques.
•    Fluent in English (verbal and written)
