About this opportunity
As a member of the Global Infrastructure Architecture team, this role will contribute to the roadmap of our infrastructure designs and own the design work for specific product and customer solutions. Working closely with and developing positive relationships with teammates both locally and within other countries. Additionally, there will also be collaboration with other technical specialists, and with the infrastructure delivery and operations teams to deliver the outstanding solutions on which the business operates.
Currently we are implementing a global transformation of multiple architecture concepts to a single global unified infrastructure and architectural strategy; you will take ownership and be responsible for design and delivery of components of this strategy. The team works in a semi -autonomous manner assigning various work tasks among themselves based upon both knowledge and business priority. All team members actively take ownership of platform areas and ways of working.


What you will do
•    Ensure end to end completeness of Infrastructure Technical Design, including non-functional requirements
•    Requirement gathering and responses for presales activities
•    Ensure alignment to design and security standards and influence solutions towards the Infrastructure future state model.
•    Owning technology roadmaps and feeding wider business requirements into central infrastructure and solutions teams.
•    Analysis of service-related trends and recommendation of technology change or improvements that better fit business needs.
•    Working with our Infrastructure Product Manager to build technology roadmaps and feeding wider business requirements into central infrastructure and solutions teams.


You will bring expertise and knowledge of
•    Design and deployment of Microsoft Active Directory (on-premise and Azure), ADFS, SAML and associated authentication techniques is essential
•    Microsoft SQL architecture and integration of core infrastructure technologies.
•    Architecture and implementation of identity & access and privilege management across a large-scale organisation.
•    Windows security and system hardening for servers/desktop/laptops and Windows server clustering
•    Design & deployment of VMware, Hyper-V and other Virtualization Technologies.
•    Linux architecture & integration with Active Directory
•    Basic knowledge in core enterprise network design & infrastructure.
•    Storage hardware including NAS & SAN environments.
•    Microsoft Security Practices including experience in the design of group policies, machine hardening & management.
•    AWS & Azure capabilities
