About this opportunity :

 As Head of Live Services Netherlands, you are part of our Markets and Operations team and lead a team of Playout and Media Operators across one or more sites. Your responsibility is to define and establish the service line and to ensure customer success through excellent service delivery.

Your team includes peers in separate geographical hubs (London, Hilversum and Paris) and together you will develop and share standard methodologies and resources to deliver end services on behalf of your local customers. You report to the Head of Global Live Services.


What you will do :

• Define and establish a key new service line for the Netherlands Market Area

• Lead, empower and develop a cross functional team where high performance, passion, integrity, and collaboration are the norm.

• Deliver an excellent level of service which meets or exceeds contracted SLAs and critical metrics for global playout, OTT, MCR and Distribution services

• Optimised resource planning, utilization and scheduling in line with demand (direct and matrix resources including shared resources from other geographical teams)

• Cost control, and cost centre budgeting and tracking

• Seek continual efficiency improvement incl. through active best-shoring and competence development

• Provide subject matter expertise to pre-sales, critical initiatives, projects, and product/service development as required

• Identify and drive standardized standard methodologies, operating procedures and knowledge bases across your functional teams and in conjunction with peers in other geographical hubs

• Embrace and understand to all relevant standard policies and procedures including ITIL Service Management, OHS, ISO2001 including security and Business Continuity

You will bring :

• Strong written and verbal communication skills in Dutch&English

• Extensive experience of high service delivery performance in dynamic environments

• Extensive experience in cross functional collaboration in complex, matrix organisations, where the customer comes first

• Excellent customer orientation, communication, collaboration, negotiation, and leadership skills

• Strong organizational and project skills with a bias to action

• Proven experience of delivering video media services in a technology-based service area process engineering, gap analysis and re-engineering

• Previous experience of managing presales

• Experience of continuous improvement and the methodologies employed to achieve

• You have deep knowledge and experience of working in a broadcast managed service environment

• You have a dynamic personality and effectively engage and influence a variety of audiences including colleagues, customer and partners at all levels of a business

• You have excellent analytical & problem-solving capability and good commercial awareness

• You have the ability to drive outcomes in a matrix-management organization

• You demonstrate effective planning and prioritisation even when faced with multiple demands

• You take ownership of issues through to resolution
