Senior I&V Engineer

About this opportunity

I&V engineer is responsible for ensuring product quality, securing test method and test environment to fulfill all the assigned test activities within approved cost, time, and quality frame. Develop test plans/method/environment and test cases to ensure that new features and products meet specifications. Participate in a team to deliver features with high quality within the project schedule and resource constraints. You will work closely with software developers to reproduce, analyze, and debug internal bugs found during feature testing as well as customer issues found in the field.

What you will do

• Responsible to produce and detail high-quality software products from inception to delivery, including Requirement clarification
• Responsible for integration implementation and also system verification in different levels to secure the high-quality products;
• Setup the test environment and implement function test, performance test, and automation test.
• Design/define test cases to ensure test coverage
• Test case execution, issue TR (trouble report) or CR (change request), and complete test report
• Participate in all function test and system test activities, mainly are automatic tests;
• Analyze test results and trouble-shooting
• Contribute to the test way of working and technology improvement and evolution together with test team members, support the test leader to achieve high test quality products with high efficiency;

You will bring

• Bachelor or Master degree in computer science, information technology, or related area
• *Good knowledge in UNIX/Linux, and proficient in script programming, such as SHELL, Perl or Python, etc.
• *Familiar with test automation practices, tools, and framework, Jmeter, cucumber, JCAT, etc.
• *Solid understanding and hands-on knowledge of network protocols including IP, TCP, HTTP, etc.
• Expert in Virtualization/networking and Cloud knowledge, docker, OpenStack, Kubernetes, and so on;
• Experienced in different test domains, including one or several types of testing, like component testing, functional test, non-functional testing, performance testing, and security testing;
• Familiar with database configuration and database skill
• Knowledge of software testing, including test process and test methodologies, e.g. Agile Testing
• Coding experiences in C/C++, Java, Java EE will be an advantage
