Our Exciting Opportunity

We are looking for a Junior SW Developer to craft next generation Network Management and Orchestration for Ericsson product portfolio. In your role be involved in all development activities, including requirement analysis, system design, integration, verification. You will be part of a Lean and Agile organization, structured in multi-functional development teams in which continuous improvement, innovation and knowledge sharing are a key part of the daily work!

 

You will

  • Work in an agile manner, with a special focus on product quality and user happiness
  • Be active part of the design flow including analysis, coding, integration, verification, deployment and documentation activities
  • Be part of a motivated and autonomous team, working directly with product owners and partners in a very collaborative manner
  • Constantly seek to improve our ways of working, as part of a continuously learning team that encourages people to approach things from different perspectives and with a demeanour for innovation
  • Continuously improve the products, tackle and fix internal and customers reported issues
  • Have fun at work living our values of integrity, professionalism, respect and perseverance
  • Be involved in a variety of activities like integration of open-source projects, test automation, continuous integration, continuous deployment in a DevOps international environment

To be successful in the role you must have

  • Bachelor or Master’s degree in Electronic Engineering / Telecommunication / Computer Science / Computer Engineering / Matematics / Physics or related information technology / scientific area
  • Knowledge in software engineering
  • Knowledge of Linux, Cloud and DevOps tools and environments, e.g., Dockers, Kubernetes, Helm, Jenkins, Spinnaker
  • Knowledge of programming languages, e.g., Java and Java-based languages, JavaScript, Python, Go
  • Ability to think creatively and out of the box
  • Strong collaboration spirit and willingness to collaborate
  • Proficient knowledge of English language

 

Additional Requirements

  • Knowledge of Microservices development
  • Test driven and test automation attitude
  • Knowledge of Cloud management systems for Google Cloud Platform, Amazon Web Services or Microsoft Azure is a plus

 

We will allow you:

  • Within 2 months to reach a good knowledge of the functional and architectural insights of the microservice-based service management and orchestration products
  • Within 4 months to start contributing to the full cycle of creation, development, and maintenance of one or more microservices
  • Within 6 months to start being autonomous on user stories and tasks under the supervision of senior engineers, negotiating the technical solution with architects and product owner.
  • Work in an Agile environment, as a proactive member of a multi-functional team
  • To adopt a Smart working policy 
  • Contribute to the overall planning of the team activities
  • To be active in the continuous improvement initiatives, always seeking the best quality for the products and the highest effectiveness and efficiency of your team
  • To be proactive to bring innovative solutions both in the technical and operational spaces
