Customer Project Manager

We are now looking for a Customer Project Manager (CPM) to lead assigned customer projects, ensuring that project goals are met, customer’s expectations are fulfilled and that the customer relationship is handled in the best possible way within the scope of the contract.

The CPM will lead 1 or multiple projects related to Cloud Infrastructure (NFVI), Orchestration (EO), Network Management (ENM) and Network Functions (EPC, IMS, HSS, HLR, CUDB, EDA, EMM).

The role will be predominantly focused working towards Network Operators in Ireland.

Responsibilities

  • Establish the project plan baseline; defining the project scope, securing the vital resources and planning & supervising all activities
  • Manage project execution; tracking project activities, supervising and handling changes, conflicts and critical issues
  • Handle customer and partner engagement; building customer relationship, confidence and trust, ensuring project progress is communicated and arranging meetings and customer events.
  • Managing Project Financials (cost and profit as well as balance sheet)
  • Develop the business; participating in contract preparation and in pre-sales meetings
  • Develop the CPM field: simplify processes, methods and tools with creative ideas

To be successful in the role:

  • Project Management background along with a Prince 2 / PMI certification.
  • Demonstrate a minimum 5 years-experience in a similar Project Management role focusing on Cloud Infrastructure (NFVI), Orchestration (EO), Network Management (ENM) and Network Functions (EPC, IMS, HSS, HLR, CUDB, EDA, EMM)
  • Leadership with good financial acumen and analytical mentality, with a good business understanding.
  • Consultative approach with extensive market and customer insight.
  • A confident negotiator with good influencing abilities.
