Our Exciting Opportunity

We are now looking for a Lead 5G Core Solution Architect, to drive assigned opportunities and deliveries across the Market Area. You will be involved in driving 5G Core deployments in the region by supporting in the design and development of commercially viable end-to-end technical solutions for the customers across  5GC sub-domains such as Packet Core, Unified Data Management and Policy, VoLTE and Evolved Communication, Mobile Switching, Signaling Solutions, Cloud Native Infrastructure, NFVI and Software Defined Infrastructure. You will be dealing closely with Service Delivery Units, Customer Units & BDGS Solution Area Core & Cloud by providing strong technical leadership and experiences to navigate the complexities of 5G Core deliveries, dealing with technical escalations and promoting best practices. The role will report to The Digital Services Head of Network Transformation.


In this role, you would:

  • Work across the region in multiple and diverse programs
  • Define the technical solutions for Core & Cloud projects in the 5GC Domain and primarily drive the delivery of 5GC Programs across the Market Area
  • Support our Market Area and Country Unit teams in pre-sales activities via technical reviews and customer demonstrations
  • Act as a SPOC for 5GC solution engagements towards the customer and the CU teams across the Market Area as part of a central team
  • Establish thought leadership through delivering customer presentations and webinars
  • Collaborate with your peers to drive best practices and promote technical excellence
  • Support operational activities by working closely with the team responsible for deployment, upgrade, integration and testing
  • Support MOAI Strategic Initiatives for CICD/Automation and Industrialization by identifying and promoting high value assets for scaled use


 As our ideal candidate, you will have:

  • Education: University degree or equivalent
  • Proven experience in 5GC technologies and adept Experience with Kubernetes/Containerization concepts with E2E technical understanding
  • Extensive experience as a Core & Cloud Solution Architect. Proven experience in domains such as Packet Core (EPC), vIMS (VoLTE, VoWiFi) UDM/UDC, DSC, PCRF/SAPC, NFVi/virtualization
  • Decision making and "can do" attitude and can lead, present and communicate with internal and external partners at C-level
  • Excellent team work and collaboration skills including coaching & mentoring Skills
  • Business and Commercial acumen and motivation to continuously self-develop core competences

**Post covid there may be occasions requiring travel to other countries in the region or design unit
