About this opportunity  


The Strategic Partner Manager’s role holds a mix of business development and partner relationship management: The role is responsible to cultivate and maintain business partner relationships while also developing strategies to increase competitiveness and revenue for the company with an initial focus on Content Owners of media and metadata.


In this role, you will network and assess potential partners, to determine whether they can power the company’s overall business strategy and identify the business opportunities from engaging in a partnership. This position will help create pipelines for new partners, use key performance indicators and metrics to understand the value of each partnership, and negotiate for best business returns.


What you will do

•    Create customer and market penetration targets around our partnerships, as well as internal efficiency targets that together build business value
•    Develop growth plans through identifying new partners, gathering, and synthesising market business metrics to inform the partner strategy
•    Champion initiatives to create and strengthen relationships with partners, designing policies and goals for partnerships to thrive.
•    Support negotiation with strategic partners and efficiently interpret commercial contracting language
•    Grow partner relationships to support customer satisfaction to a measurable level, up-sell of Red Bee Media services and joint business development agendas with clients, prospects, and partners
•    Support the Sales Team client proposals on partner matters, with materials and distinct presentations
•    Analyze and report on partner initiatives, forecast for strategic changes and report on key metrics
•    Build professional networks in relevant industries, attending conferences and industry events to support continuous improvement of solutions, processes, and people


You will bring:

•    Proven working experience as a business development manager, sales executive, or relevant role
•    Experience of leading commercial and contractual partner engagements with demonstrable track record
•    Ability to understand technical solutions and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that problems are resolved timely
•    A solid knowledge of Content Discovery metadata services, and general knowledge of the Red Bee portfolio
•    Good knowledge of the importance of rich metadata and Content Discovery in the changing landscape of Linear and On-Demand broadcasting
•    Ability to report on and analyze complex data using tools such as PowerPoint, Excel, and Power BI
