Networks CTO KAM (f/m/d) Telefónica Germany - Technical & Solution Sales Support

 

Purpose of Job Role

Ideally, you have 7 years of professional experience in RAN network technical sales and are ambitious to work with our teams to strengthen our customer portfolio and customer relationships. We have a far-reaching business relation with Telefónica Germany and are looking to strengthen our team working with Telefónica Germany and are looking for a Network (RAN, Microwave and Transport) CTO. You will be responsible to support and drive businesses that contribute to the development and growth of the account, demonstrating leadership and showing capabilities in end-to-end complex opportunities.

Qualifications and Experience

 

 Bachelor of Business Administration, Science or similar

 Substantial in-field experience from sales/solutions at Ericsson or equivalent

 Thorough knowledge of assigned area

 Experience from working in the field with customers

 Selling skills

 German communication skills are a great plus

 

Scope and accountabilities

 

 Requires business understanding and specialized depth and/or breadth of expertise within own area. Expert on several products, processes, or services.

 Acts either as a broad generalist or deep expert or is responsible for leading an area of expertise with strategic importance. Subject to a low level of control and review on non-routine assignments.

 Solves unique problems with broad impact on the business.

 Implements short- and mid-term strategies and provides input to functional strategy and/or develops strategy for project execution. Manages customer contacts on executive levels.

 

Leadership

 May lead projects with notable risk and complexity.

 

Typical relevant experience

 

 Extensive professional experience in roles which require qualified knowledge. Leadership experience, either as a functional or people manager.

 

Responsibilities

 

 Position Ericsson as thought and technology leader

 

Tasks

               

                Ensure that the customer CTO/CIO and organizations know about the latest technology

solutions from Ericsson and their advantages relative alternatives.

 Develop customer advocates to position Ericsson as domain partner.

                Understand the customer medium- to long-term visions and strategies and capture requirements

               on technology and solutions.

 

 Provide technical sales support expertise

 

Tasks

 

 Conducts in-depth technical discussions with customer

 Work with Sales team to develop and build value argumentation

 

 Provide sales support for specific deals

 

Tasks

 

 Take the lead and focus on securing deals in footprint & strategic areas

 Secure early involvement with customer

 Together with KAM develop a win strategy for selected deals

 Create a strategy for selected deals into the Region

 

 Contribute to knowledge sharing

 

Tasks

 

 Guide and coach others to build business knowledge within assigned area

 Share knowledge and best practice in internal and external fora
