Head of IT Western Europe (m/f/d)

As Head of IT Western Europe you are a key digital transformation partner to the Ericsson business. You and your team must be creative and problem-solving, enabling IT solutions for the Ericsson business. You will report to Head of IT Market Area Europe and Latin America and be part of the units Leadership Team. Your team consists of 20+ employees, spread across Germany and the Netherlands. Your country responsibility will be Germany, Netherlands, Switzerland and Austria.

 

 Key responsibilities, but not limited to:

  • Stakeholder management, Business demand management and Project execution
  • Enterprise IT Infrastructure Operations
  • Manage the relationship with the German workers councils, related to IT topics
  • Ensure good collaboration with the central IT organization and other regional teams
  • Build a strong team that is recognized as a trusted IT partner the Ericsson Business in Western Europe

 

 Key Qualifications:

  • MSC, MBA or equivalent through experience
  • Minimum 10 years relevant experience
  • Genuine interest and understanding of 5G and Industry 4.0
  • Technical know-how and be able to combine IT infrastructure, hardware ​and software worlds
  • Strong technical background, deep understanding of IT fundamentals, ability to speak business and technical languages
  • Present your ideas and solutions in a way that it is easy to understand for people from outside your team​

  • An entrepreneur-like mindset, constantly innovating and driving positive change but more importantly, you consistently deliver outstanding results​
  • Experience driving teams in an Agile environment and a desire to make work fun and enjoyable
  • “Can do attitude” and a collaborative mindset You don’t win unless the team wins
  • Knowledge Sharing & Collaboration Skills
  • Change Management Skills & Analytical thinking 
  • Fluent in English, German would be beneficial
