In Market Area Europe and Latin America (MELA) Digital Services, Customer Unit Western Europe, we are looking for a Client Sales Lead for Communication Services, IMS and Packet Core domains. The position is overall responsible for business development of Digital Services portfolio for COS, IMS and Packet Core for all accounts across Customer Unit Western Europe. The role reports directly to Head of Digital Services, CU Western Europe. We welcome your application!


You will

  • Drive domain sales by supporting the KAM organization with business development and domain specific sales activities securing that Ericsson is perceived as a preferred partner. Work on strategic level in identifying leads and opportunities.
  • Driving Digital Services Thought Leadership with the Customer and Account Teams. Primary technical interface toward customer CTIO for assigned portfolio.
  • Support KAMs with Digital Services Growth Planning, Forecasting, and all Execution and Product Roadmap & pricing issues  
  • Working with Solution Delivery and relevant MELA and Global units to secure opportunity creation and evolution from ideation until contract closure.
  • Work closely with Business Areas, Solution & Account Teams. Coach to Digital Services presales staff and account team.
  • Act according to the Ericsson Leadership Framework and promote the corporate values, ethics and culture of the organization to ensure excellent performance.
  • Targeted and Measured on Order Booked, Funnel creation, Deal Closed within the Quarter.


To be successful in the role, you bring 

  • University degree in Business or Engineering, Master’s degree would be advantageous or equivalent working experience
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in Business Development in IMS and/or Packet Core domains.
  • Previous experience in a similar role in the ICT industry, preferably having worked with major Telecom Operators.
  • Strong technical domain expertise in area of responsibility
  • Fluent in English, German is a plus.
  • Negotiation Skills, ability to influence Customer’s vision & strategy
  • Ability to drive opportunities to deals
