MS Automated Operations Engineer- Fresh Graduate Program

Our Exciting Opportunity:

 

We are now looking for an MS Automated Operations Engineer to be part of our fresh graduates’ program for one year.

 

You will

• Join different MS domains and functions.

• Perform alarm monitoring and 1st level troubleshooting for multi-vendor access network

(BSC/RNC/BTS/Node B) Radio Access Network (RAN) & Transport Network & Core Network in managed service.

• Perform first level troubleshooting with a KPI of solving faults for Access Network (ER///, ZTE &Huawei), Core Network (CS & PS) and Transport network.

• Network Performance (KPIs) Monitoring.

• Classifying and accordingly dispatching alarms to Field Maintenance team.

• Guide FM resources to be properly equipped in the field to resolve the case, technical support,

and in-site assistance if required in major incidents.

• Classifying and accordingly escalating alarms to Back Office team via service manager tool.

• Perform Escalation and Notification to keep management and other business units informed

during system outages.

• Create and update/manage trouble tickets for any detected problem.

• Responsible for sending out notification SMSs for major outages and down sites

• Following up on FM and BO teams on outages and down sites VIA TT system.

• Get complete understanding of access & core commands and how to use them via command handling tools.

• Work as a first line support for IPBB, PS network (Juniper routers – Extreme Switches– Huawei routers & Switches –Cisco routers & Switches -SMART EDGE IPRAN routers -Citrix load balancers - ZTE GGSN, SGSN) logs and troubleshoot in case of problems and cascade it to concerned team.

• Troubleshoot Transmission links (IRUs, ELRs-STMs) & monitor IPBB nodes.

• Monitor Network nodes Performance and health (Temperature, CPU & Memory utilization)

• Working as service desk engineer to be responsible about helpdesk function and arrange communication between external entities and MS teams.

• Support incident management team in emergencies and global outage.

• Investigate and troubleshoot in chronic cases raised by MS team as a problem.

 

 

Qualifications:

• B.Sc. Electrical Engineering: Electronics and Communication

• Excellent knowledge of Mobile Network (2G/3G/LTE networks architecture, different call scenarios, basic troubleshooting of base station sub-system (BSS), Mobile Channels in different generations)

• Fresh graduate is preferred

• Excellent user of computer applications.

• Have good communication skills.

• Very good command of English

• Ability to think quickly and calmly when working under pressure.
