Our team is responsible for the vDicos and Data Management Solutions of the Component Based  Architecture (CBA).

Our solutions is built on the following main common components:

  • VDicos: vDicos Execution Environment which will be the successor of the existing Ericsson Telecom Server Platform (TSP). The aim is to provide API to execute important TSP-based applications (supporting IMS & VoLTE) in a CBA cluster.
  • DBS: The DBS implements an in-memory, high capacity, fault tolerant cluster database.
  • DAS: The Database Access Service (DAS) provides database technology agnostic interface towards the applications for communicating with the data tier.


Our team is responsible for verification of the components against functional and non-functional requirements (e.g. characteristics, robustness, stability,upgrade, maintainability, redundancy, overload):

  • Develop and maintain test automation framework and the testcases in Java. (JCAT)
  • Running and analyzing automated TCs including trouble-shooting. (Continuous Integration)
  • Network infrastructure configuration / adaptation to new requirements
  • Verification of system requirements

We are looking for a candidate who

  • has flexible mindset and clear quality focus

  • good knowledge in English, both written and spoken


We also expect that you have knowledge one or more of the following areas:

  • basic understanding of IP-based protocols (TCP/IP, UDP, SIP, SCTP), VLAN, routing
  • scripting experience (e.g.: bash)
  • system testing



  • experience in virtualization technologies (Openstack, VMware, KVM)
  • IMS experience
  • openness for leadership roles (TL, TPO)
