Our Exciting Opportunity

We at Ericsson Packet Core development are a very passionate team of developers on the mission to build the world’s best Cloud Native Packet Core solution. We are now looking for talented SW developers with a strong interest in Product security and privacy in Network Functions and Infrastructure. Join us if you like to come up with new ways to automate repetitive tasks so that you can focus on the more stimulating work instead. Like you, we believe software is more than just a job! Furthermore, we believe you are results-oriented, curious and creative. It´s a plus if you have a keen understanding of IP protocols and IP-based routing in an embedded environment and a passion to learn and develop new skills.

We stand at the forefront of Agile software development, using methods like Lean and Scrum to create a product that excels. Our teams are cross-functional, self-organizing, international and highly independent. This requires maturity and a ‘team first’ approach, which may not be right for everyone, but which we believe is the best way to create great software.

You will

  • Work with some of the best software developers in Hungary
  • Be working with high-performance application development, low latency requirements, multi-threaded/multi-process troubleshooting, and embedded system development in an environment with huge amounts of data
  • Drive strategic technical leadership
  • Develop and test high quality products

To be successful in the role you must have

  • BSc, MSc or higher level in Computer Science or the equivalent level of knowledge
  • 6+ years experience
  • ·Awareness of security and privacy principles e.g. Certificate handling, encryption, authentications, secure protocols (SSL, TLS, etc.)
  • Familiarity with cloud-native principles e.g. Scalability, service-based architecture, Kubernetes and network plugins, helm charts
  • Programming skills in for example C/C++, Erlang, TTCN, Perl, Python or Java
  • Talent and passion for software development, problem-solving and computer systems. You love to discuss SW and are comfortable about sharing this knowledge
  • A curious demeanor and strive to continuously develop your knowledge
  • Customer focus and ambition to understand needs on developed features
  • Good working TDD and other agile experience as it is essential for our organization
