Ericsson Hungary is looking for Scrum Master and Continuous Integration Developer.


Product and Position Summary

We are looking for a Scrum Master and Continuous Integration Developer for the team on Budapest developing and maintaining scripts and tools for the build environment and continuous integration machinery for both Traffic Node (TN) and the new MiniLink66 (ML66) products.


The head office of the Microwave products development is placed in Gothenburg with sites in Milan, Genova, Beijing and Budapest. We are pushing innovation and lead the product development in the area of Microwave transmission with high volume products such as MINI-LINK as well known trademarks. The products TN and ML66 are both scalable, flexible, modular and robust u-wave transmission systems used primarily in LRAN. The node is capable to carry both TDM and Ethernet traffic.


Responsibilities & Tasks

  • Guide/support the team in the agile journey, self organization, removing impediments, etc.
  • Facilitate in discussions, meetings, getting the work done without dictating
  • Develop, improve and maintain scripts and tools of the build environment and CI machinery
  • Support the Feature Developer Teams
  • Support and contribute to CI/CD
  • Contribute to Continuous Improvements of the Tools


Minimum Requirements:

  • BSc degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science
  • Sound knowledge of a script language (e.g. python, bash)
  • User level understanding of Linux
  • Experience with Git or other version control system
  • Experience with Continuous Integration Server (e.g. Jenkins)
  • Basic understading of make systems (e.g. gnu make)
  • Ability to work in an agile team (Scrum, Kanban) and in multicultural environment
  • Experience as Team Leader, Scrum Master or Agile Coach
  • Good command of English


Preferred Requirements:

  • Good control of Git/Gerrit, Maven, Jenkins
  • Strong knowledge of make systems (e.g. gnu make)
  • Experience working with Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery
  • Experience with Configuration Management
  • General telecom network knowledge preferably connected to microwave networks
