Excellent! As we are now looking for a creative, energetic, out of the box Project Manager to join one of our newest development groups, Development Group Automation, and shape a young and growing project. We are embracing a start-up mentality to deliver our automation products that delight customers, break the complexity of network management, and bring innovation at record speed!


SA OSS and PDU OSS are in the process of transforming our focus from vertical applications to horizontally and layered model-driven development. Our ambition is to establish an OSS ecosystem, which will be the foundation of an open multi-vendor automation platform for Next Generation Radio Networks. Leveraging on technical synergies and software reuse we will work with our stakeholders across Ericsson globally to build applications on this platform that will realize our customer needs. This open app ecosystem will also facilitate customers' contributions that will realize their own specific use cases.


What you will do


  • Drive the delivery of our automation products.
  • Ensure delivery of incremental functionality, with the highest standards of quality, leveraging the advantages of DevOps methodologies
  • Facilitate planning with the teams, ensuring the planning inputs and outputs are of high quality
  • Track progress and milestones, support the teams with the removal of external impediments
  • Manage project risks, maintain expectations aligned with stakeholders and promptly take data and fact-based decisions guided by project priorities
  • Be a change agent and keep driving improvements on our ways of working and process automation
  • You will be encouraged to work closely with the other development groups to ensure that the entire program works towards common goals. You will work closely towards our market areas and customer units as well as Ericsson’s lead customers as it relates to this domain.


You will bring


  • A degree or postgraduate qualification in computer science, telecommunications, or related area
  • 6+ years of software development practice in a software development group, including demonstrable experience of leading others to deliver on commitments
  • Have a passion for identifying new ways of working (Lean, Agile & Beyond), and driving R&D efficiency
  • Domain experience: Telecommunications domain (OSS and RAN are a plus) and Software Engineering practices
  • Grasp market development and understand customer and competitors in the RAN Automation space
  • Be a team player with a passion for continuous delivery and improvement
