The Operation Center section within DNEW/Digital Production System (DPS)/Production Services Operations (PSO) is now looking to expand the team with a Problem Manager who will play an important role within the ESP POP (Production Operations Program) and the evolvement of our Production System.
Our focus is to improve the end-users (the designers and testers) working experience by the production system availability. Our work, together with the Flow- and Baseline Guardians in the CI Operations focusing on product-related issues causing the test to fail or even preventing them to start their test job, is essential for Ericsson’s success.

DNEW, is accountable for Radio Design that fulfils the assignments received by Product Area Networks within the budget frames from Business Control. We demonstrate leading radio business opportunities and secure technological evolution!
Within DPS, we are in the phase of building a service-minded organization capable of providing a world-class environment that is flow-optimized and will simplify and reduce the vast variety of existing development and test environments including tools.
The position will be based in Budapest, Hungary reporting to the Operations Center Manager.
What you will do
- Run task forces
- Perform root cause analysis and investigations on recurring issues discovered by our end-users and supporting teams in our Production System
- Have a constant dialogue with technicians, peers and end-users to make fact-based decisions and conclusions
- Use big data analytics and problems and propose short- and long-term improvements with help from expertise from affected components/services
- Define and follow- up on submitted improvement actions (for instance ESP iRA FEP / SAN)
- Maintain and prioritize the problem management backlog
- Share and co-operate around AI, Automation and Machine Learning ideas that can give a more efficient environment and operational situation
- Report on the progress and impediments
You will bring
- Self-motivation and an innovational mind-set
- Technical knowledge specific to the DNEW development process, e.g. Module CI (SDC/BDC), Node CI (NBC) and CD (NBV)
- Hard-working to inspire change and lead to set and meet performance targets
- Track record in bringing structure to complex areas
- Experience with sophisticated technical organizations in a multi-stakeholder environment
- ITIL- knowledge
- As a person, you are likely ambivert in order to feel at home in this role as it will be a mix of in-depth big data analysis and interpersonal collaboration with stakeholders
