Our Exciting Opportunity

MINI-LINK is a well-known trademark of Ericsson’s microwave transport solution within the radio system with more than 3 million sold units.

MINI-LINK is a scalable, flexible, modular and robust microwave transmission system used primarily in mobile networks, supporting both TDM and Ethernet traffic. The product is Linux based, source code is written in C/C++, automated tests are done in Java.

We are now looking for an Operative Product Owner for MINI-LINK Nodes to lead the technical implementation of business requirements and drive development of MINI-LINK products towards 5G.

In this role You will break down customer requirements into user stories that can be handled by the cross-functional development teams in an agile development context.

The teams you work with will primarily be located in Budapest. You will be part of an experienced system team, located in both Budapest and Gothenburg.

That team has the end-to-end responsibility of development of both HW and SW for MINI-LINK products.

You will

  • Ensure the translation of business strategies to efficient product development.
  • Ensure that the organization plans, handles and controls the project portfolio to meet the implementation strategy.
  • Be responsible for efficient handling of products and features through the product life cycle.
  • Act as a bridge between Product Development and Product Management.
  • Drive technical leadership
  • Handle requirements and product backlog
  • Drive continuous improvements
  • Develop domain specific competence

To be successful in the role you must have

  • MSc/BSc degree in engineering or equivalent
  • 3+ years of experience in similar role
  • Knowledge of MINI-LINK products desirable but not required
  • Customer Insight
  • Project Management Skills
  • Commercial Acumen
  • Collaboration Skills
  • Experience from agile product development
