Ericsson Hungary is looking for Open Standardization System Manager

 

Product Summary:

Ericsson Cloud Manager enables secure and seamless management of cloud infrastructure services for multiple tenants sharing the same infrastructure. It also provides secure GUI and programmatic API access while isolating and securing the resources of each tenant. Ericsson Cloud Manager provides the operational agility to automatically change the characteristics of the network to conform to meet the dynamic and on-demand needs of newer services. Ericsson Cloud Manager supports separation between multiple tenants and subtenants so that both the provider as well as the provider’s customer may manage their virtual computing needs. When managing a private cloud, providers use Ericsson Cloud Manager to manage their own virtual infrastructure. When managing a public cloud, providers' customers also use Ericsson Cloud Manager to manage their virtual computing needs. In line with this, Ericsson Cloud Manager provides big data based analytics for our customers as well.

 

Job Summary:

Involvement in various Open Standards communities such as OpenStack, OPNFV, ETSI NFV MANO and OSM,  ODL, etc… as necessary.

Analyze both open standards and customer business requirements in the Virtualization and Cloud management domain, authoring detailed requirements for technical teams and guiding them in the following areas:

  • Life Cycle Management of Cloud Resources and Services
  • Orchestration of Virtual Network Functions (VNFs) and Network Services (NS)
  • Closed Loop Service Assurance, Governance, Capacity and Metering 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the analysis of specific open standard requirements, business use cases, test considerations and Epics/User stories for a Cloud Management product
  • Analysis of Virtualization solutions specifically surrounding IaaS in Telco Cloud, Private IT Cloud and Public Cloud
  • Primary person responsible for coordinating and communicating customer requirements internally to the product team
  • Actively participate in development of product functional roadmap and two year strategy with product management
  • Work collaboratively with product managers, architects, and senior developers to define product requirements

 

Key Qualifications:

  • In-depth understanding of Orchestration required to manage the life-cycle of Virtual Network Functions and Network Services
  • Experience with Closed Loop Service Assurance, Capacity and Metering functions related to VNFs and NS
  • Analysis of Virtualization solutions specifically surrounding IaaS in Telco Cloud, Private IT Cloud and Public Cloud
  • Experience with and detail knowledge of PaaS and SaaS solutions
  • Experience with Open Standards communities such as OpenStack, OPNFV, ETSI NFV MANO and OSM, ODL, etc…
  • Effective communication skills to discuss business requirements with product management and to internal and external customers
  • Must have an understanding of industry trends in Cloud Computing and Virtualization technologies (e.g. OpenStack and OPNFV)
  • Typically requires 6+ years related experience with a BS;  4+ years’ experience with a MS
