Our Exciting Opportunity

The need for reliable, secure connectivity is a major trend in private businesses. To realize business value, Enterprise customers have increasing demand on own wireless network coverage with tremendous performance, high data security and extreme reliability to support business critical communications.

The telecom industry’s novel response to these requirements is the Private Telecom Network solution, which is a new phenomenon in the telecom world. Simply speaking, this is the most modern compact mini version of the big public telecom networks. The own, private mobile network of an Enterprise.

Private Networks challenge the traditional telco network operation paradigm: it is dominantly predictive and preventive, automated, relying on a lot on Automation and Machine Learning algorithms.

Ericsson is establishing a new Private Network Operations team for its international customers. We are looking for motivated and talented colleagues who are ready to operate Private Networks, excited about innovation, doing something really BIG and transformational, eager to work with almost all of the modern technologies, including 5G, IoT, Cloud, Big Data, Machine Learning, to name the most exemplary ones.

You will

  • Analyzing customer requirements, technologies, and networks, solving technical problems
  • Event Monitoring and Incident management
  • Predictive maintenance by scripting and providing technical expertise
  • Preventive operation and maintenance
  • Driving Continuous Improvements of Product, Processes, and Documentation
  • Log and track customer reported incidents, and corresponding emergency patches
  • Working in shifts as part of a new team

To be successful in the role you must have

  • Work experience in Telco or IT operations or deployment
  • Domain experience: Expertise in any of the following domains: Radio Access Network, Cloud, OSS, Telecom Core, IP and transmission networks, Linux
  • Scripting knowledge is an advantage
  • Fluent English
  • Service Assurance experience in areas such as Network Operations Center, Quality Management, Problem Management
  • Interest/knowledge in Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning
  • Hands-on experience with Big Data
  • Understanding of Service Level Agreements and Network Key Performance Indicators
