Our Exciting Opportunity

Product Development Unit Component Development (PDU CD) is a development organization within Business Area Digital Services (BDGS). PDU CD is a corner stone of the Ericsson platforms and components strategy and develops components and products and microservices used by applications across Ericsson. It covers three main ecosystems Application Development Platform (ADP), Component Based Architecture (CBA), and licensing as well as delivering domain specific services for IMS with the Dicos software.

We are now looking for an ADP Senior Microservice Test Framework Developer to take part in testing and delivering high quality software in Application Development Platform (ADP). The Application Development Platform Framework is the approved way forward for developing cloud native applications within Ericsson, following a modern design pattern (microservice architecture based on containers). You will take part in developing test framework, working also in the open source word and your role will include development activities such as: requirement analysis, integration, verification, simulations, tools design, Product Lifecycle Management support and product documentation. Our focus is on Lean and Agile ways of working. We organize in multi-functional development teams in which continuous improvement and innovation is part of the daily work.

You will:

  • Perform continuous analysis and requirement handling
  • Develop test framework and test high quality products
  • Participate designing of CI/CD pipeline
  • Perform trouble shooting
  • Develop competence in technical domain

To be successful in the role you must have:

  • Linux user experience (bash)
  • Good development on Java
  • Experience in DevOps, CI/CD Pipeline Development
  • Experience of using automated test frameworks
  • Familiar with Git, Gerrit and Jenkins
  • Good command of English
  • Domain experience: Telco Cloud
  • Advanced level testing knowledge
  • Education: BSC or MSC diploma
  • Min 2-3 years of experience

Advantage:

  • Additional language knowledge like Golang, C/C++, or Python is a plus
  • General IP network knowledge and IP routing/firewalling
