Our company is looking for a Marketing and communications Editorial Support Specialist.

 

Role Summary

As an M&C Editorial Support Specialist, you will be responsible to provide communications support to the global Internal Communications community.
M&C Editorial Support Specialist work within a Common Services hub, to provide Internal Communications editorial deliveries to the global organization. For requests that also include production requirements, close collaboration with M&C Production Specialists will be required.

 

In this role, you will specialize in Editorial deliveries, to enable the global M&C organization to communicate effectively and consistently. This will include basic editing of articles, mails, datasheets, newsletter and invites as well as more complex deliveries of whitepapers, reports and executive summaries. Organizational announcements will also be part of the scope. There will be a mix of informed communication support requests from other IC professionals as well as uniformed communication requests from leaders in coordination with local IC resources. You will specialize in identifying underlying communication needs and define effective and impactful options to meet those needs.

 

You will creatively work with the team to provide content as input with ability to contribute to the creative process. Ability to generate content from interaction with stakeholders. Expertise in distilling big ideas into concise and clearly written content.

As advantage we expect a background as editor/writer working for an agency, magazine publisher or a similar online player. Experience of social media, online communities, forums, perhaps an experienced blogger. You have good research, editing and proof reading skills. Preferably qualified in journalism.
