Our Exciting Opportunity

Ericsson IoT Accelerator is an as-a-service (aaS) solution for mobile operators and enterprises supporting Internet of Things (IoT). The platform provides Connectivity Management and Device Management service for IoT Devices. We're looking for a Security Architect with broad security skills in product security and/or cyber security. The role will be to set and drive the direction for the overall security of the as-a-Service solution (end-to-end) with a focus on the development / pre-production phase. The service contains of a virtualized BSS environment and a telecom core network environment, and we work with continuous deployments. The service is deployed globally and has a large customer base which has been built up during the more than 10 years that the service has been available. The service contains privacy data so EU-GDPR as well as other local privacy regulations are applicable. It is also used by Critical Infrastructure which adds additional security requirements. In your role as Security Architect you will collaborate with the Head of Development Unit Security and work in a global team with other security professionals. As a team we encourage cooperation, sharing knowledge and helping each other. You will also be cooperating a lot with other units, such as e.g. the Development teams, Product Management and other Security teams within Ericsson.

You will

  • Investigate and progress the security posture in response to our strategy
  • Support the implementation of our security strategies across the portfolio
  • Cooperate with Security Masters and our development teams
  • Explain our product to customer executives

To be successful in the role you must have

  • MSc in Computer Science or related technical field
  • Minimum 7-10 years security experience from product security and/or cyber security, preferable a broad security experience from several different security domains
  • Experience from a leading role within Security (Security Architect, Security Lead or equivalent)
  • Solution driven approach and be comfortable with driving the direction for the overall security solution (end-to-end)
  • Business and customer focused attitude
  • Good English, both written and spoken

Advantage

  • Experience from security during product development, including the Security Master concept and Ericsson Security Reliability Model (SRM)
  • Experience from security of large operational environments, e.g. a large enterprise IT environment or from a telecom operator
  • Experiences from Risk Management, including performing risk assessments
  • Security and privacy frameworks as e.g. ISO27001, NIST Cyber security Framework and EU-GDPR.Security certifications such as e.g. CISSP or CISM
