Ericsson Hungary is looking for IP Routers Development Environment DevOps Experienced Software Engineers

 

Job Summary

 

The IP Routers Development Environment organization is chartered with building and delivering a world-class Development Environment for ~2500 engineers distributed across four development centers across the globe.  This is an opportunity to be a part of a newly established cross-functional organization that is focused on building an infrastructure to support development efficiency and productivity. 

 

In 2016 we started a brand new Development Environment organization in Budapest and we are looking to build a cross functional team of experienced engineers with expertise in creating and supporting other teams in Development Tools, Analytics, Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery and DevOps. In this position, you are part of a strong and cohesive cross functional team of LSV Operations and work closely to Tools, Analytics, Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery and DevOps that develop and support solutions for development teams in Budapest as well as remote sites such as China and India to provide “follow-the-Sun” development and support. Furthermore, you need to interface with major internal stakeholders as well as development teams, Tools & Analytics team, of Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery teams, as well as Technical Staff in Silicon Valley.

 

Responsibilities & Tasks

 

  • Expertise in either Tools, Analytics, Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery or DevOps
  • Design, Develop and Support solutions to improve current DUIP development organizations eco-system across the globe
  • Self-starter and highly motivated individual who aspires to make significant change in the current development eco-system.
  • Technically seasoned individual with strong belief in teamwork
  • Agile mindset and agile practitioner
  • Good understanding of continuous improvement culture and knowledge sharing and learning

     

Position Qualifications

 

Core competences:

  • 5+ years in product development or product support
  • Experience in different scripting languages, using them in complex systems
  • Experience in development tools, Analytics, test environment, continuous integration & delivery
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills
  • Experience in Open Source development
  • Product Development/Technical Knowledge
  • Product Life Cycle Management Knowledge
  • Delivering Results and Meeting Customer Expectations
  • Experience in working in agile/scrum teams
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Must be able to present and communicate effectively to engineers and leaders

 

Minimum Education Qualifications:

  • BSc or MSc level in a technical discipline or the equivalent level of knowledge
