IP Networking Support Engineer - SAN SAS

About this opportunity
Ericsson’s Packet Core products are growing on the market and our customers are now beginning the transition to 5G. With more customers and an increased need to support existing 4G and new 5G networks we need to strengthen IP routing customer support team for our native SSR (Smart Service Router) and EVR (Ericsson Virtual Router) portfolio which provide IP networking capabilities to our market leading 4G and 5G mobile core products. Our customers include the leading mobile network operators across the globe.
What you will do
- Manage SSR and EVR trouble tickets from our customers
- Work effectively in a team to analyze, troubleshoot and resolve wide range of technical issues
- Proactively support product development team by feeding experience from working with customers and customer installations
- Provide technical support for Ericsson project teams
- Be part of task force teams and on call rota as requested
- Flexibility to travel may be required from time to time
You will bring
- Education: BSC, MSC in engineering, IT or in natural sciences
- Working independently, taking responsibility
- Team work including virtual team work in multi country and multi-cultural teams covering whole telecom network and multiple product teams
- Knowledge sharing skills and readiness
- Business understanding
- Delivering results and meeting customer expectations
- Planning and organizing
- Good understanding of IP networking and Linux
- C++, Python knowledge is an advantage
