Ericsson Hungary is looking for IMS Release Automation Engineer.

 

Job Summary:

 

Are you interested in development & operation of tools used by hundreds of software developers? Do you live for automation instead of executing the same boring manual steps every time? Do you seek the possibility to continuously improve your way of working?

Then IMS Software Configuration Management team is the right choice for you, and we also have a friendly team atmosphere here. Main team responsibilities include design/support of software development aiding tools, as well as supervision of the release process for IMS products.

 

YOUR DAILY WORK WILL INCLUDE:

  • Development/Operation of tools in a variety of programming/scripting languages
  • Development environment support and troubleshooting
  • Official release process automation of IMS applications
  • Challenging the status quo
  • Communication with internal customers

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • BSc degree in Computer Science or equivalent
  • Experience in Unix and/or Linux environment
  • Experience with version control systems
  • Scripting knowledge (one of these: Perl, Bash, Python)
  • Good command of English

  • Experience with agile development processes (e.g. Kanban, XP)
  • Git experience
  • Sound Oracle VirtualBox knowledge (operating/deployment)
  • Build/Test automation experience
  • Software Configuration Management experience
