We are looking for an Occupational Health & Safety Subject Matter Expert to provide comprehensive Health & Safety (OHS) support for the relevant organizations, coordinate responsibilities to meet business needs and ensure compliance with legal and customers requirements about Occupational Health & Safety in Hungary and Slovenia and lead, in coordination with the current OHS SME team, these activities in the rest of the countries within CU Northern & Central Europe and CU Eastern Europe & Central Asia




  • monitoring of OHS legislation and secure legal compliance check by leading all the activities to ensure legal compliance across the countries
  • implementing OHS Policy, directives and procedures
  • defining and executing local OHS programs and securing adherence to strategy and targets
  • monitoring, controlling and reporting OHS performance, provide feedback and recommend actions for areas of improvement
  • provide relevant result and information for Local leadership Teams
  • maintain OHSAS 18001 OHS Management System and aim for continuous improvement of the system
  • providing functional expertise to all levels in the organization
  • be the contact person for authorities and customers
  • represent OHS function in local forums and networks
  • drive incident reporting, investigation and overall analysis
  • participate in risk assessments and analyze the outcome
  • analyze and define OHS competence needs



Key Qualifications:


  • Education: A recognized formal OHS qualification e.g. degree or diploma  (Example Post Grad / Degree and MSc in OHS Health and Safety Management or NEBOSH International Diploma in Occupational Safety and Health or other recognized certification.)
  • Min 7 years of experience
  • Domain experience: Network roll-out and managed services
  • Sustainability and Corporate Responsibility skills

  • Analyzing
  • Change & Improvement Management skills


Additional Requirements:


  • Good knowledge about OHS legal requirements required in Northern, Eastern & Central Europe and Central Asia for Telecommunication sector
