Our Exciting Opportunity

Ericsson Hungary is now looking for a Test Architect!

 

Plan and implement automated software tests, drive the quality assurance related discussions, and gradually improve the quality related important metrics. Help and contribute to development and maintenance of backend microservices of Ericsson Expert Analytics (EEA) using state of the art Big Data technologies. EEA is a real-time, multi-vendor, cross-domain, Big Data analytics solution tailored for telecom. Read on to get to know more!

 

You will

  • Develop and maintain end to end testing framework, environment and machinery for Ericsson’s Expert Analytics products and solutions
  • Plan and create HL and LL test plans, review and verify results
  • Be an owner of the quality assurance. Drive the development of test frameworks and how they used in our microservice and central CI pipelines
  • Contribute to studies and epic preparations and pre-refinement meetings
  • Contribute to Test Architect community and provide reports about software quality and process improvements to partners
  • Improve the continuous integration of the product and continuously improve the test environment
  • Provide improvements by coming up with new ideas related to our products and processes
  • Mentor/coach junior team members during day to day work
  • Write software tests together with the team in Java

 

To be successful in the role you must have

  • Passion for quality software development, ability to analyze and create test cases & scenarios and willingness to learn new things
  • Solid testing experience
  • ISTQB – Foundation level certificate
  • Experience of CI and deployment pipeline and test automation
  • Experience in software development methodologies, ability to deliver a feature end-to-end
  • Experience with virtualization and orchestration technologies (docker, Kubernetes)
  • Experience in data model design
  • Understanding Continuous Integration (git, Jenkins)
  • Experience in shell scripting and Linux
  • Experience working in a collaborative environment using agile methodology is mandatory
  • English proficiency, both written and spoken
  • Good communication and negotiation skills
  • Experience in software testing (unit, component, integration) and designing performance measurements at multiple level of resources
  • Good knowledge of Java programming language

 

It's a big plus if you have experience or with

  • Understanding of data analytics methodologies
  • Experience in real-time, streaming processing technologies (Kafka, Spark Streaming, etc.)
  • Telecommunication domain knowledge
  • ISTQB – Advanced level Certificate, agile tester, test manager, etc..
  • Test Architect, Test Manager, Test Lead experience
  • Software/system integration experience
  • Understand and design test data set regarding to validation of edge cases (as high variance, error handling, missing data handling and compatibility check, recovery, etc…)
