Our Exciting Opportunity

Ericsson Hungary is now looking for a Java Software Architect!


Design and plan new software components, explore, test and select appropriate open source and in-house built 3PPs and build the ones need to be developed from scratch. Design and document all aspects of the integration into our microservice and cloud native based product. Help and contribute to development and maintenance of backend microservices of Ericsson Expert Analytics (EEA) using state of the art big data technologies. EEA is a real-time, multi-vendor, cross-domain, big data analytics solution tailored for telecom. Read on to get to know more!


You will

  • Actively work on improvements on current designs and APIs
  • Create proof of concepts and present them on dedicated architect board meeting
  • Make sure the design used in your team is aligned with the overall architecture defined for our unit
  • Continuously improve your skills and share your expertise with the team
  • Guide break-down of features/epics into user stories
  • Support communication between development teams in various locations/organizations as well as other key partners
  • Help the team achieve the right technical content and quality for a developed feature
  • Say “no” when necessary and always propose alternative options
  • Foster process improvement within your teams

To be successful in the role you must have

  • BSc or MSc in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or equivalent is required
  • English proficiency, both written and spoken
  • Demonstrated experience preferably in a Software Architect role
  • Experience in agile software development with Java and continuous integration
  • Experience in JIRA
  • Experience in cloud native development (Docker, Kubernetes, Helm)
  • Experience in big data ecosystem (Kafka)
  • Superb communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to train and mentor young professionals


It’s a big plus if you have

  • Telco (fixed and mobile network) domain knowledge
  • Experience in artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning (ML) or related technical fields
