Ericsson Expert Analytics is a cutting edge solution which combines Big Data Technologies with unique event processing methodologies in order to analyse customer experience as well as performance and usability of the network infrastucture.

The key business values of the solution is the analyses itself, which is based on our telecommunication domain exptertise. The uniqness of the solution is also strengthened by the near real time data processing and analyses of certain use cases: products providing similar analytics, processing similar amount of data usually provide offline reporting use cases only.

As a result of the Hungarian Research Team's innovation, the product is based on a distributed, extremly high processing capacity solution, which is capable to correlate high volume of data retrieved from different part of the telecommunication network, such as network elements, interfaces, OSS/BSS systems.

This collected information is analysed and processed close real time to provide Key perfomance indexes (KPIs) and statisics. The correlated information gives flexible baseline for the continuosly improving backend and UI applications to provide support for further detailed analysis, complex business decisions, insightful  representation and reporting.

Position Summary:

Senior level Web GUI developer with extensive HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, AMD, D3/SVG etc. experience in designing, developing and testing Web based GUIs in a large-scale enterprise application. The ability to work in a fast-paced, highly collaborative, agile development environment in support of short iterative cycles is a must. Flexibility in understanding changing business priorities are a key for this position.

 

Major Responsibilities and Tasks:

 

  • Leading development effort for features on the client side
  • Understanding Agile development methodologies e.g. test driven development, continuous integration, code coverage, code analysis, etc.
  • Experience with building scalable high-performance software while still being highly configurable
  • Involved with the development team in estimating, planning and refactoring software development programs, projects and tasks
  • Experience with complex bug verification, testing, and program support
  • Understanding of software design methodologies, libraries, frameworks, components, services and architectures and re-use in solutions
  • Demonstrated skills in Object Oriented analysis, design and programming
  • Effective interpersonal communication skills in a highly collaborative team environment

     

    Technical Skills:

     

  • Web GUI technologies: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript 5 (ES6 a plus), AMD pattern, D3/SVG
  • Follow programming standards and best practices
  • Web development tools: LESS, nodeJS, GIT, BASH
  • Web libraries: Handlebars, Backbone
  • Familiar with Jenkins and Gerrit systems
  • Understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and responsive design
  • Java, Java EE, and exposure to EJB, Web Services, JMS are pluses
  • Java EE App Servers: Jboss, Weblogic
  • Sufficient working knowledge in Linux/x86 environment

  • Hands on experience as outlined above
  • Effective interpersonal communication skills in a highly collaborative team environment
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem solving ability
  • Passion for product scalability/performance and quality
  • Willingness to learn new technologies
  • Must be a self-driven with ability to work independently on complex tasks
  • Above all, should have good attitude, willing to take responsibility & ownership and adhere to the deadlines

     

    Minimum Qualification:

     

  • Typically requires 5+ years related experience with a BS; 2 + years’ experience with a MS
  • Knowledge of Big Data technologies and industry standards is a plus
  • Knowledge of the Ericsson YMER UI SDK is a plus
  • Experience with a BI tool is a plus
