Position Summary

Ericsson Hungary is a main contributor in the development of the leading edge Smart Services Router family. We are looking for an engineer that has an interest in developing software, passion for solving complex problems with a solid work ethic and team player attitude to cooperate with a group of experienced engineers located in Hungary and other parts of the world.


Key Responsibilities:


  • High complexity embedded C development
  • Test, debug and integration with hardware
  • Cooperation with test engineering to ensure best-in-class reliability and performance
  • Creating implementation specifications, design documents and unit test plans
  • Performing design and code reviews
  • Support other software development centers in several geographical sites
  • Pro-active communication inside product team


Main Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related
  • At least 2 years’ experience in C/C++ programming
  • Proficiency in embedded software development
  • Good command of English
  • Strong self-motivation



  • Masters or Doctorate Degree
  • Familiarity with DSP and NPU code development
  • Proficiency in Assembly programming
  • IP / MPLS networking knowledge
