Ericsson Hungary is looking for EEA Release VerificationTeam Leader.




Ericsson Expert Analytics is cutting edge application package  which combines Big Data Technologies  with unique event processing methodologies in order to analyse Customer experience and also the performance and usability of the Network infrastucture. As a result of the Hungarian Research Team innovation, the product is based on a distributed, extremly high processing capacity solution, which is capable to correlate high volume of data retrieved from different part of the Telecommunication network, such as network elements, interfaces, OSS/BSS systems. This collected information is analysed and processed close real time to provide Key perfomance indexes (KPIs) and statisics. The correlated information gives flexible baseline for the continuosly improving backend and UI applications to provide support for further detailed analysis, complex business decisions, Insightful  representation and reporting.

The Hungarian based organization is responsible for the end-to-end Application Software development and maintenance, from data collection to visualization of certain use-cases.

  • Data collection, processing and correlation  modules developed in C++ on Linux platform
  • Scalable and distributed Big Data platform using Hadoop technologies (Yarn, MAPR, HDFS, Zookeeper, HBase, Avro, Spark), integrated with Python and Bash,
  • Applications deployed on the top of the Big Data platform are developed in JAVA SE, JAVA EE, SCALA,  JavaScript languages.


We are expanding our Budapest Expert Analytics development and support organization. We work in small teams that use Agile methodology to keep up in a fast paced business environment, we closely cooperate with Ericsson Research, customer units and service delivery organization.


Major Responsibilities

As team lead of Expert Analytics test team carries out team sprint planning, reporting, communicating and resource allocation in team. At the same time team lead also joins feature and system test activities, automation development.

Carry out the assigned testing tasks and report progress to the Release Verification manager and the Program Board.

  • Design, review, execute test cases professionally and independently.
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot and debug the bugs found during testing, organize trouble shooting workshop if needed.
  • Responsible to ensure quality of the deliverables (products, processes and services) from the job assigned covering system design to End-user documentation
  • Coordinate with team members, design engineers and manager cross sites as main interface.
  • Plan and maintain team test beds, organize team to setup proper test beds for specific features.
  • Responsible for team sprint and backlog planning, and ensure team task progress. Support team members in daily testing if needed.


Job Requirement

  • Bachelor's degree or above in telecommunications, engineering or computer science.
  • Fluent written and excellent verbal English skills are required.
  • Excellent teamwork and cooperation spirit, both professional and personal integrity, proactive and positive learning attitude.
  • 3 year+ Experience of team leader or scrum master, responsible for team sprint and backlog planning, communicating with other sites, and reporting status.
  • Excellent ability to solve issue in team daily testing.
  • Solid Linux and IP networking expertise is a big plus.
  • Experience in automation development using JAVA or other languages is a big plus.

Minimum qualifications
