We are growing our Budapest Professional Analytics development and support organization. We work in small teams that use Agile methodology to keep up in a fast-paced business environment, we closely agree with customer units and service delivery organizations. Our product platform combines Cloud Native Big Data methodologies and solutions with our outstanding sophisticated event processing to build innovative analytics and decision management system. What you will do

 

  • Lead a small test architect team, that contains 5 very experienced engineers with deep and complex knowledge, system-level understanding, and a determined attitude
  • Lead the current release verification by defining the priorities considering the customer needs (this input is coming from the program management team) and with making the priorities clear for the release verification team leads (who lead directly the verification engineers)
  • Not lead and will not give tasks to the system verification engineers directly
  • Be the single point of contact between system verification and the program management
  • Know the actual status of the release verification and the program needs (this input comes from the release verification team leads)
  • Create a release verification plan for the upcoming releases (with the test architects and capacity owner)
  • Represent the release verification team on the program- and release status meetings
  • Handle changes
  • High-level understanding of the features/microservices to be able to lead and represent the test architects on different sync and planning meetings (deep technical architect meetings are not included)

 

You will bring

 

  • MSc/BSc degree
  • At least 2-3 years experience in system-level testing or team lead or project management
  • Intermediate/advanced MS Office knowledge (especially Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
  • System-level thinking
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills
  • Fluent English
  • Good skills in time management and stress management
  •  Creativity, flexibility, and an open mind to be able to solve complex and complicated situations

 

It is an advantage If you have:

 

  • Leader position experience (team lead, line manager, scrum master, product owner, project or program manager) at a big company
  • Experience with Agile methodology
  • Familiarity with ISTQB terminology and Jira tool
