EEA - Data Visualization Expert

About this opportunity

We are now looking for a Spotfire Design Architect to develop and maintain components that deliver Telecom Insights on top of the Ericsson Expert Analytics (EEA) portfolio! EEA is a powerful tool offered to telecom operators to produce customer insights in real-time. Backed by specialized metrics for predicting customer happiness. EEA provides the kind of deep understanding of customer behavior that allows service providers to proactively improve the experience, satisfaction, average revenue per user, and Net Promoter Score (https://www.ericsson.com/en/network-automation/telecom-analytics).

We are expanding our Budapest EEA development and support organization. We work in small teams that use Agile methodology to keep up in a fast-paced business environment, we closely cooperate with Ericsson Research, customer units, and service delivery organizations. Our product platform combines Big Data methodologies and solutions with our outstanding complex event processing to build a state-of-the-art analytics and decision management system.

What you will do

• Drive UI design for Spotfire frontend through the whole lifecycle (via user needs, task analysis, personas, storyboards, user flows, prototypes, etc.)
• Work as part of the development team
• Use the Ericsson brand elements to design the UI
• Work with domain experts to design the UI workflow for users
• Be responsible for the design of UI in analytics
• Contribute to higher-level use case design with product management and architects
• Collaborate with developers to choose the best option to fulfill use cases

You will bring

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in designing BI fronted to customers
• Handful knowledge of different kinds of BI tools
• Beginner programming skills in python, JavaScript, and markup (HTML and CSS)
• Problem-solving demeanor and ability to work in a team
• Ability to lead discussions and drive requirement implementations involving different stakeholders
• Experience in preparing design materials

It is an advantage If you have:

• Deeper knowledge of TIBCO Spotfire
• Experience in dashboard design
• SQL knowledge and experience working with relational databases
• Experience in SW development and software release management
• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Systems
• Experience in Telecommunication Industry
• Ability and willingness to quickly adopt new technologies and/or business domains
