Ericsson Hungary is looking forEEA Continuous Integration Automation Engineer.

 

ERICSSON EXPERT ANALYTICS:

 

Ericsson Expert Analytics is a powerful new tool offered to telecom operators producing immediately actionable customer insights in real time. Backed by specialized metrics for predicting customer satisfaction, Ericsson Expert Analytics provides the kind of deep understanding of customer behavior that allows service providers to proactively improve experience, satisfaction, average revenue per user and Net Promoter Score.

 

We are expanding our Budapest Expert Analytics development and support organization. We work in small teams that use Agile methodology to keep up in a fast paced business environment, we closely cooperate with Ericsson Research, customer units and service delivery organization. Our product platform combines Big Data methodologies and solutions with our unique complex event processing to create a state of the art analytics and decision management system.

 

Job Summary

Cutting edge CI framework development in multi-site environment in a close collaboration between New Jersey and Budapest sites. If you feel you have the ability, motivation and experience to become a proactive member of this Continuous Integration (CI) framework development team at Ericsson Expert Analytics then we might need You. 

 

Responsibilities

  • Collaborating with CI PO in setting vision of the development of CI processes with multisite stakeholders  (New Jersey and Budapest)
  • Active participation in development of Build System for efficient releasing (Gradle) in order to reduce TTM.
  • Stakeholder management in order to gather requirements and needs on the CI framework.
  • Proactively working on CI Team Backlog, suggesting development improvement area.
  • Collaboration with other development teams within the PDG in order to standardize the CI machinery.
  • Developing the defined user stories and feature specification.
  • Maintaining the existing environment.
  • Drive innovation by coming up with new ideas related to  our product/our processes

 

Key Qualifications

  • Solid experience in CI environements
  • Good techincal knowledge in Gradle, Jenkins, Shell Scripting , Java and/or Python
  • Agile methodologies knowledge
  • Experience in leading a team
  • Experience in Product Ownership
  • Good communicative skills
  • Fluency in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Analytical mind
  • Pragmatic problem solving
  • Proactivity
