  • Academic degree, minimum on bachelor level, in engineering (IT, telecom) OR 1-2 years academic studies combined with at least 3 years of relevant professional experience.
  • Minimum 1 year of relevant experience

  • Proven knowledge of analytical troubleshooting

Knowledge / awareness of the following BSS Products (not all of them are mandatory):

•             Knowledge of servers  HW/SW and their characteristics in Service networks area( e.g. TCP/IP, UNIX, Sun Solaris, SMSC, MMS, Voice Mail, Video Mail, VPN)

•             GSM network architecture

•             Good knowledge of resource availability indicators and their interpretation.

•             Good knowledge of network implementation/integration processes


•             Red Hat / Linux (Certified, preferred)

•             Data Base Administration

•             Orcacle PL/SQL

•             Sun Certified System Administrator (or equivalent knowledge including Sun Clusters)


Considered as a plus:

•             Knowledge of Direct Attached Storage Solutions

•             ITIL Foundations

•             Basic networking knowledge

•             Basic Software scripting knowledge (Perl/Shell)

•             Service network layer functionality (Circuit Switching, Packet Switching)

•             Resource layer (Access network, Core network control, Core network transport, Service network)
