About this opportunity
We are looking for a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Compliance to strengthen our Human Resources Function in Market Area Europe & Latin America (MELA).
As Compliance SME based in Romania or Italy, you will be accountable to drive our Human Resources (HR) agenda in a wide verity of compliance related topics for South-East Mediterranean.
A collaboration between you and other roles within the HR Function will be key to our joint success. At the same time, you will also act as the prime HR interface to different Group Functions in Ericsson concerning the prevention and follow-up of illegal, unethical, or improper conduct. We will count on you as a pro-active and strong driver and contributor for further implementation and continuous improvements of our HR related Compliance processes and tools – addressing the needs of your geography and beyond of the wider Ericsson Group.
This position will report to the Head of Program Management & Compliance in HR of Market Area Europe & Latin America and be part of Customer Unit South-East Mediterranean’s People team.
What you will do
Act as the prime and guide for countries and
- be accountable for the implementation and execution of relevant parts of Ericsson‘s compliance framework
- actively increase the knowledge and understanding of compliance in the HR/People Function
- act as the main Point of Contact towards central and country specific compliance or legal functions
- lead assigned investigations and assure implementation of adequate remediation actions in close partnership with other relevant stakeholders
- drive and lead proper Conflict of Interest handling within the HR function
- support a compliance-based evolution of our company culture
- be a contributor to local and global compliance networks in the group
You will bring
- General Lawyer with Labor Law Expertise and/or relevant work experience about Compliance in HR Functions
- More than 7 years of working experience also working in international environment
- Proficient in English, Romanian and/or Italian
- Ability to lead sensitive cases, be credible and always act with a high level of integrity
- Strong intuition for business and understanding
- Solid ability to lead and motivate change in a matrix organization
- Effective and pro-active great teammate
- Good interpersonal and communication skills also in virtual working environments
- Working across countries and time zones, liaising with the country HR teams to secure approaches and governance
- A good level of understanding of general HR policies and labor regulations are required
