About this opportunity

The MS Core and Cloud Specialist is responsible for the coordination, management and execution of proactive and reactive maintenance activities that require a higher level of support than the one offered by the MS Automation Operations. This shall ensure that the services provided to customers are continuously available and performing to Service Level Agreement (SLA) performance levels.

What you will do

Maintain and improve the customer’s network and provide technical support, fault investigation, troubleshooting. Be responsible for the Operation, Maintenance and Performance of the customer network. Keep the performance of system resources at optimum level by ensuring that network/application problems are detected and corrected according to agreed KPI and SLA. Perform proactive actions to prevent system failures and related impacts on customer services.

Take full responsibility for configuration changes introduced in the systems and keep the resources configurations and status under control. Contribute to the creation and improvements of supervising alarms and procedures/routines. Perform 7x24 on-call shifts.

Specific technical competences

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering (IT, Telecom)
  • 5-6 years’ experience of operations in a Telecom NOC environment
  • Core Network knowledge CS : MSC, MGW, HLR, HSS, STP, SBC
  • Core Network knowledge IMS : CSCF, SBC, AS, DNS, ENUM, VO LTE, VO WIFI
  • Good understanding of Mobile Networks 2G/3G/4G/5G
  • SS7 protocol stack and troubleshooting
