Specialist Compensation & Benefits (m/f/d)

As a specialist in Compensation & Benefits (Total Rewards) you will work proactively with business leaders, People Business Partners and other stakeholders to bring the Ericsson Pay & Recognition philosophy to life in the assigned country/geography by implementing and managing effective and fair reward and recognition policies, work instructions, processes and systems aligned with market and business needs.


You will

  • Drive implementation of global processes and geographical programs/ initiative in line with global framework and with support of local people business partner as required within several areas of total rewards
  • Partners with stakeholders and supports business needs through consultation and leads the implementation of our global processes and our pay philosophy in the geography by defining fair and driven local compensation and benefit offerings, based on global and market area principles.
  • Design, implement and manage the local total reward package including benchmark and benefit design and ensure efficiency and competitiveness in the local market to secure attraction and retention of talent
  • Drives country level governance and compliance by securing that all Total Reward results have applicable instructions, frameworks, processes and governance, in line with global Total Reward directive in collaboration with local BP.
  • Audit and analyze external and internal market data, trends and insights to provide proactive Total Reward thought leadership to business leaders and People Business Partners. Support the people business partner to use this information to enable business leaders to make strategic business decisions and guidance on employee engagement.
  • Work with business and geographical people function to embed the global approaches on base pay, salary benchmarking, salary budgeting and short-term variable pay
  • Support the local People Business partners and provide training to business leaders and People Business Partners to ensure the successful usage of total reward policies, processes and initiatives
  • As a part of the Global Total rewards network, you will be involved in the development and implementation of initiatives and projects to support business needs, improve employee engagement, manage risks and control costs


To be successful in the role you must have

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • Several years of experience in a similar role
  • Typically, demonstrable experience in managing compensation and benefit program design, driven market analysis, forecasting trends/costs in a geography,
  • Experience in the design and successful implementation of reward programs and tools
  • Sophisticated ability to collaborate and work effectively in teams/virtual teams and proven track record to influence, educate, and enable others
  • Strong analytics capabilities and ability to translate data into trends with key insights and recommendations
  • Consultative approach and ability to effectively communicate policies and information, knowing when to raise questions or issues.
  • Excellent attention to details and accuracy of data, ability to prioritize and follow through on requests
  • Fluent in German and English
  • Possess and demonstrate outstanding judgment, self-management, impeccable ethics, and a high degree of personal and professional maturity
