Do you love working in a team that supports each other to achieve great results? This is your chance! We are now hiring a Senior Specialist Thermal Design in Ericsson Beijing. At Ericsson, we have more than 50 highly talented Thermal Designers who support all of Ericsson with our expertise. Ericsson Beijing team collaborates with our thermal design colleagues at the other R&D Centers both in Chengdu, Ottawa and Sweden.

What you will do

  • Work and collaborate with other thermal designers, both in Beijing and globally
  • Lead Beijing thermal team on new thermal solution, including both material and technology
  • Propose and investigate new/better thermal solutions in both radio unit and baseband unit
  • Encourage collaboration between our teams and other teams both inhouse and globally
  • Act as a mentor for thermal design colleagues
  • Acquire a deep understanding of the product development process at Ericsson
  • Collaborate with universities, institutions and companies to explore and find novel technical solutions applicable to Ericsson product portfolio

You will bring

  • Education: Master or higher
  • At least 10+ years of experience in thermal design simulations, lab measurements and design verification
  • Knowledge of the ICT industry in general and the Telecom Industry in particular
  • Thermal design experience in radio unit or baseband unit is a must
  • Knowledge in Radio/Baseband systemization and energy efficiency features and how they can be used to improve the Thermo-mechanical design
  • Strong leadership and coaching skills in line with Ericsson core values, Respect, Perseverance and Professionalism
  • Knowledge and excellent understanding of thermal industrialization
  • Large degree of flexibility, willingness to change and to take on different tasks
  • Excellent communication skills, proficient in spoken and written English
  • Excellent understanding of the HW design and development process
  • Accountability – taking full responsibility for own and team’s actions and performance
