Our Exciting Opportunity

Development Services & Infrastructure (DSI) within Development Unit Network (DNEW) has the mission to enable efficient development worldwide with our engineering environment as a competitive advantage, for present and future business needs. This is achieved by enabling flow and transparency, enhance collaboration with aligned way of working as well as optimizing efficiency through infrastructure sharing.

As a DSI SNI RAN Configurator, you will be responsible to plan and secure a stable Environment and optimize the solutions/services to the agreed service levels in a cost efficient and timely manner. You will be a part of an EST team which has responsibility for Test Environment in DNEW with focus on continuous integration, test and delivery areas.

 

You will

  • Build Test environment as per user requirement enabling testing of features & scenarios
  • Configure and integrate RAN nodes and solutions into networks (new and existing)
  • Operate on eNodeB's with different configurations present in test environment and optimize the network as necessary
  • Support and maintain network elements present in the test environment
  • Analysis and facilitate end to end troubleshooting for the issues related to Ericsson Radio Nodes present in test environment
  • Provide required solutions on RAN activities and change management
  • Maintain a stable environment and optimizes the network as necessary
  • Create cost effective solutions through activities in network design and deployment
  • A good T-shaped resource who would be required to work on Real UE and simulators
  • Provide support and guidance to user and supporting organization for operations and maintenance of network elements
  • Coordinate delivers with supporting organization to the best support users enabling operational excellence

 

To be successful in the role you must have

  • Good knowledge of 3GPP standards
  • Resource is expected to have knowledge of Ericsson RAN products but should also be very well T-shaped in other competence areas of EST (such as: UE, Simulators, Network/IP, Windows)
  • Should have in-depth knowledge & understanding of LTE network and call flows
  • Protocol knowledge of 5G, LTE, VoLTE, WCDMA and GSM interfaces
  • Good knowledge of working with Real UE and Simulators
  • Good knowledge of scripting
  • Knowledge of testing & test scenarios in telecom environment would be a plus
  • Knowledge of cloud and virtualization in telecom environment
