Future 5G Radio Architecture

About this opportunity

As a future 5G radio architecture in the PDU radio - radio system and technology China team, you will work with a wide network of senior designers, specialists, experts and stakeholders across Ericsson global RAN and radio development organizations. You will be involved in solving complex customer challenges and develop innovative new technologies for our world leading radio products, and the most import, to define the future 5G and even 6G products with new radio architecture. The right person for this task understands the big picture, has a documented strong drive and a pragmatic way of dealing with all types of challenges. What you will do

• Drive strategic technical leadership toward radio products, propose radio architecture improvement, evaluation for future
• Perform business intelligence and competitor analysis
• Perform requirement analysis and handling.
• Drive or participate in radio technical studies
• Drive or participate pre-development activities
• Drive or participate radio solution team activities
• Develop radio test/integration method for high quality products
• Perform trouble shooting and customer support if needed, solve complex technical challenges
• Drive continuous improvements of radio products and processes, faster the new technology into radio products
• Develop competence in radio technical domains and related RAN network knowledge
• Act as a competence pool

You will bring

• Education: Master or above
• Min 3 year or above years of experience:
• At least one experiences in the following area is required in related companies (like Huawei, Nokia, Samsung, ZTE, Qualcomm and Intel etc), the more the better:
• Radio requirement allocation, link budget
• Radio transceiver, receiver, power amplifier design
• Radio base station integration (PA/DPD, RX/LNA etc)
• Signal processing and digital design
• MATLAB and related RF link simulation
• FPGA or ASIC design
• HW cost management
• Thermal and mechanical design
• Big technical influence in 5G or wireless alrea
• Know latest 5G and even 6G RF HW technology and product tendencies
• Product development knowledge and Product Lifecycle Management knowledge
• Business understanding: deep understanding 5G and Radio business
• Working with people and networking, good networking ability
• Innovating, adapting and responding to change
• Delivering results and meeting customer expectations
• Planning and Organizing
