About this opportunity

We, in Ericsson PDU Baseband SW, are looking for a continuous integration DevOps engineer. In this role you will monitor our continuous integration (CI) machine status and handle problems that are blocking the smooth running of the CI machine so that Baseband SW codes can be continuously verified and then delivered to our main branch for next level verification. You will have the opportunity to collaborate very closely with PDU baseband developers as well as other PDU and system verification organization to troubleshoot/analyze/fix issues.

What you will do

  • Monitor BB CI BDC/NBC flow, guarantee the smooth running of flow
  • Make timely and active analyze on CI flow failure reasons, actively collaborate with other RAN modules (e.g. TC) and NSV Baseline Manager to properly handle the issues
  • Make good communication with BB TG/SDCG in all sites to make sure issues are correctly and efficiently followed up in a follow the sun manner
  • Contribute to weekend work support to guarantee important deliveries
  • Create release branch according to program plan
  • Actively identify opportunities for improving flow efficiency/trouble shooting efficiency and speak up
  • Provide statistics info to PM/LM for improving flow lead time


You will bring

  • Bachelor’s degree or above majoring in computer science or telecommunication
  • Quick learner, patient and good at logical analysis
  • Good spoken and written English, good communication skill
  • Dare to challenge the status quo with acceptable manner and strong ability to push things forward
  • Self-driven, good teamwork spirit and strong sense of responsibility
