Enterprise Solution Architect

About this opportunity

We are looking for several Enterprise Solution Architects to join our new team in Bangalore and help us in our Global Transformation journey!

What you will do

• Work in an agile team and be responsible for the design and blueprinting architecture, realized by internal software engineers or external vendors.
• Continuously match business requirements with perspectives of business processes, information, data and IT functionality.
• Create business value by balancing the functional needs against other non-functional/quality requirements, making necessary priorities and compromises.
• Ensure alignment with our target architecture and security directives, ranging from integration patterns to buy/build recommendations, by guiding and steering agile development teams with architecture guardrails and advice.
• Present solution architecture to formal review boards when applicable.
• Influence and share good architectural practices within Group IT and across Ericsson.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Data Scientists, Service designers, UX designers, Software Engineers, Business SME's, Agile Coaches etc., as well as peer architect roles, including Enterprise-, Security-, Business- and Information Architects.
• Be an ambassador for enterprise architecture and an active contributor in internal and external architecture communities.
• Ericsson's Enterprise Architecture team plays a crucial part in this business transformation

You will bring

• Demonstrable experience in enterprise-grade solution architecture development within one or several business domains (e.g. Sales and Marketing, Supply, Sourcing, HR/People etc.) Perhaps not yet in teams practising agile methodologies, but sees that as an exciting opportunity to grow and learn something new.
• An understanding of how to build and implement full-stack enterprise-grade web and mobile solutions (cloud native, containers, public cloud PaaS services, security built-in, API first design etc.) as well as integration with Commercial-off-the-shelf and Software-as-a-Service solutions.
• A genuine interest in technology, eager to learn and keep up with the latest trends like AI/ML, automation and public cloud.
• A background in designing digital solutions for either Supply & Logistics, Sourcing, Finance/ERP, Telecom Network Roll-out or customer journey workflows in a B2B scenario.
